When replacing the factory tin skid plates on your 4Runner, you will lose the ability to run the plastic filler piece that fits between the engine skid plate and the bumper cover. Our filler plate will fill that gap and also better protect the radiator and A/C condenser from dirt, debris and other objects. Also perfectly complete the "flat-bottom" look of our skid plate packages.
